The Maya river (Ayano-Maysky region) is a right inflow of Aldan river. The river is formed by merge of the Right and Left Maya within the limits of the Yudomsky-Maya hills. The site, beginning from the source and up to the mouth of the Yudoma river (874 km) is located within the limits of the Khabarovsk Krai. In its top and middle current the valley is wide and full of marshes. In its bottom current the valley is much narrow. The main right inflows are Lyaki, Ingali, Yudoma; left inflows are Mati, Nudymi, Northern Ui, Batomaga, Maimakan, Aim. The river is used for navigation along 500 km from its mouth.
