Ecological Tourist Complex "WELCOME", located on the picturesque bank of Amur River in the Sikachi-Alian outskirts.
The site for the Complex was chosen for its unique historical value. Here at the late Stone Age appeared the first settlements of the ancient tribes, originally designed for long term dwelling. That's why this historical stage is regarded now as a sedentary one. That was also the time for the ancient art works of worldwide significance to appear.
The Petroglyphs, situated around WELCOME Complex, belong to such historical pieces of art. Here one can see basalt boulders embroidered with diverse "drawings", simple and unpretentious in their delicate execution, featuring birds, animals and facial images. The most ancient of them date back to 12,000 B.C. Petroglyphs akin to those revealed in Australia, Japan and America.
During the excursions around the complex one can get acquainted with the historical aspects of Amur native people beginning and their cultural heritage. The exposition vividly mirrors Stone Age, Early Iron Age and the Middle Ages periods.
To provide a glimpse of Nanaian culture the folk ensemble will perform traditional ceremonies - fire feeding ceremony, conjuring out of evil spirits ceremony combined with national dances and songs.
Cradled under the towering trees is the museum of abodes samples. Here opens a view upon a Nanaian mansion, composed from “fanza”, resembling one of a Chinese kind, and a barn, stuffed with dried fish supplies. For the aboard trips down the Amur River a bird-bowed boat was carved by the local craftsmen in the line of utterly old traditions.
The second part of excursion around the WELCOME Complex features an "ecological path", that offers a unique opportunity to take a look at the most interesting and rare specimens of the Far Eastern nature.
After an educating tour around the WELCOME Complex guests are offered to enjoy a traditional Far Eastern meal.
